South Carolina Curriculum

The South Carolina Social Studies curriculum standards are designed to serve as a benchmark to connect the history of our state and nation to what is taught in the classroom. We at Fort Sumter NM recognize the importance of these standards to learning. All of the education materials were designed with the state’s standards in mind. The attached standards are designed to allow you the opportunity to see the benefits of visiting our sites.
