The Fort Smith National Historic Site has GPS devices at the front desk in the Visitors' Center for loan if you do not have one. A Ranger will give you a tutorial, if needed, as to its functions.
Currently, our Geocache program includes a single cache, located inside a building on the park grounds. While points of interest occur on the grounds, there are NO outdoor caches at this time; please do NOT dig anywhere within the park boundries. As with all National Park Service areas, digging or otherwise disturbing the ground is prohibited. Any input that Geo Cachers might give to improve our program is highly appreciated; please contact us. The Groundspeak Geocaching Logo is a registered trademark of Groundspeak, Inc. |
