Be A Junior Ranger

Fort Scott has three different Junior Ranger booklets. One for preschool children (ages 3-5), one for younger elementary age children (ages 5-7) and one for older children (ages 8 and above).

Each of these books has many exciting stories to tell about Fort Scott. You can discover the answers both at the site and online. These junior ranger books not only connect you with the site's history but also give you opportunities to display your talents at art and hone up on your math skills.

To request a Junior Ranger book, please e-mail us or give us a call at 620-223-0310. Junior Ranger books may also be picked up in the Visitor Center upon arrival.
