Fort Larned staff and volunteers will bring the fort to life as soldiers and civilians, officers’ wives and laundresses. Come out and watch the blacksmith use fire to turn iron into everyday objects, or hear the crack of rifles and the boom of the cannon. There will be on ongoing art program for kids in the post school house. Independence Day is a time to think about our history and what our country means to us.
