Fort Donelson Co-Hosts "Project Wet" Workshop for Educators

Dover, TN - On June 12,  2012,  Fort Donelson National Battlefield will co-host a Project Wet 2.0 Workshop for educators.


Project Wet is an international, interdisciplinary, water science and education program for formal and non-formal educators of K-12 students. Katherine DeWein, a Project Wet education instructor for Austin Peay State University, will lead the workshop, which will be held at the Stewart County Visitor Center, along highway 79 in Dover.


There is a $10 non-refundable fee for materials, but lunch will be provided by the park staff.

Interested teachers, museum educators, or volunteers should contact Katherine DeWein at or contact Fort Donelson staff at 931-232-5706 x 104. The initiative is funded through the Austin Peay State University Center for Excellence in Field Biology.
