Arts in the Park 2007

 

Dover, Tennessee--Enjoy summer at Fort Donelson National Battlefield! Come paint, draw, or sing Civil War songs in the inspiring setting of the historic battlefield. This celebration of the arts is co-sponsored by the Stewart County Arts & Heritage Council and the Stewart County Public Library, Dover, Tennessee.

 

Programs are offered Saturday mornings in June (June 2, 9, & 30) and Fourth of July Weekend (July 7) from 9 am – 11 am. All materials are provided FREE. Families and children are welcome, but registration is required. Programs will be held outdoors; please bring a towel or blanket to sit on. Musicians may bring instruments to play along with the instructor. Instructors Carolyn Darke, Dover, and Conny Ottway, Murray, KY, will direct the programs. Volunteers and staff of the public library and arts council will assist.
