National parks across the system engaged in a variety of activities to prepare for and celebrate the centennial. Fort Davis National Historic Site was a big part of this effort. Take a look at what we did and join us as the National Park Service enters a new century in 2017!
Exhibits have been placed in the newly restored 1880s Post Hospital. This includes a self-diagnosing tool called the "Wheel of Misfortune", medical instruments from a doctor's case and fully furnished surgeons office. The office includes an examining table, skeleton and hundreds of leather bound reference books. Read more
