35 Years Old
Lately it seems like your mom is looking a lot older than her 35 years. It's no wonder; worry does that to a person. Your Dad hasn't been getting many hours at the Flour Mill, nothing like it used to be, but at least there's some money coming in. Your Mom's doing some mending; trying to get a bit more wear out of those jeans that started with you and have been passed down to Sly. She's got some beans cooking on the stove with the ham hock. That's the last of the pork and this year there's no pig. Oh well, don't know what you'd feed it anyway.
