Cook House

Cook House - Nelson Newman owned the building but rented it to Mrs. Sarah Cook, a widow. She lived here with her unmarried children, Hamilton, Mary E., and Elbridge. Both boys were students. Also living with her were Lucinda Cook, probably a daughter-in-law, and Lucinda's six month old baby, Louisa. James Gormley, who listed his occupation as a merchant, also lived in the house with his wife, Julia.
