Lincoln Home - When the enumerator for the Eighth Census, 16th District, stopped at the Lincoln Home on July 14, 1860, he listed the occupants as: Abraham Lincoln, a 51-year-old lawyer; his 35-year-old wife, Mary (she was actually 42 years old); their three sons Robert Todd, William Wallace, and Thomas; a hired girl M. Johnson; and a 14-year-old boy, Phillip Dinkell (a hired servant.)
