This video shows a mangrove forest. Mangroves are small to mid-sized trees that live in standing water. Their roots protrude above the waterline in a tangled buttress. The research tower within the mangroves is a metal structure that cantilevers equipment over the tree canopy. At the base, a two-level wooden hutch on stilts is covered with a tarp to protect the equipment.
