Event Time:

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

In May of 1903, President Theodore Roosevelt, planning a tour of the western forests, invited the naturalist John Muir to a four-day camping trip in the Yosemite wilderness. What did John Muir and President Theodore Roosevelt discuss around the campfire in 1903? Witness a live re-enactment of this history-altering camping trip in Yosemite, as the “Tramp” and the “Rough Rider” engage in lively discussion over the fate of our most wild places, and swap stories about their own adventures. Don’t miss this special presentation at the Yosemite Theater honoring the 150th anniversary of the Yosemite Grant Act. Please join John Muir and Theodore Roosevelt any Friday in May or June 2014 in the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center Theater.

Your participation in Yosemite Theater supports Yosemite Conservancy’s work in the park.

All performances take place at the Yosemite Theater, located behind the Valley Visitor Center. All dates and performances are subject to change. All shows start at 7 pm. Tickets for most shows are $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 4–12. Tickets are available at the Yosemite Conservancy Bookstore at the Valley Visitor Center and at Tour and Activity desks.
