Become a Junior Ranger at Homestead National Monument of America

Discover the history of our ancestors at Homestead National Monument of America. Travel through the park and complete your Junior Ranger booklet while experiencing the exhibits in the National Homesteading Museum, the Palmer-Epard Cabin, and the Farm Implements Displays. Through the use of games, activities, puzzles and more, you will learn about the history of the Homestead Act of 1862 and how it shaped the land, people and country. Pick up a booklet for free at any of our visitor centers.

Also available is the Homestead WebRanger Activities online! With a parent’s permission, Junior Rangers are able to go online and have fun taking part in Homestead’s online games and activities.

Junior Rangers are special people who are dedicated to their National Parks. Their mission is to explore, learn, and protect, and to have fun while doing it!
