What is special about Everglades National Park?

Read the essays selected as winners of the 2010-2011 Everglades Essay Contest to find out.

Fourth grade students that attend the Shark Valley Day Program have the opportunity to submit one-page essays on the topic of what is special about their national park. Each month a winner is selected from the entries and receives a $50 US Savings Bond. One of the monthly winners is chosen to receive the grand prize of a $500 US Savings Bond. These bonds are graciously provided by Shark Valley Tram Tours.
