Devils Tower is one of the most unique geologic formations in the entire world. The scientific value of the Tower was the main reason for its designation as the first national monument in 1906. Today, it continues to serve as an amazing example of igneous formations, columnar jointing, and differential erosion. If you are studying geology, we invite you to connect to the park and explore a truly amazing formation!

How to ParticipateTo register, submit a request online; select the form for distance learning and choose "Geology of the Tower" as your program. Once submitted, park staff will contact you to confirm your test connection and finalize details. A successful test connection is required before your program date can be finalized.
