There are many ways to get kids involved in National Parks. Below are several links that will help teachers and students learn about Devils Postpile and all of our parks and monuments.

U.S. Geological Survey

The USGS Long Valley Caldera: Provides links to the regional geologic story behind the Long Valley Caldera.

The USGS Geology of Devils Postpile: Gives an in depth look at the geology of Devils Postpile and the Sierra Nevada.

The USGS Education Resources for Teachers: This is a good base for curricular ideas, scientific data, and other resources dealing with geology, biology, hydrology, and geography.
