Violinist/Fiddler Ed Caner has been labeled by the Cleveland Plain Dealer as, "One of the most versatile musicians on the planet." During the past 15 years, he has performed as a sideman for over 50 major acts. Joining Ed this month will be the Cleveland-based Irish trio The Portersharks, featuring Bill Cambers (guitar, vocals), Francis Quinn (fiddle), and Brendan Carr (bodhran, percussion). Keeping with the fierce tradition of the tunes, Francis is known widely for his fantastic technique and speed. Bill Chambers has just the right timbre and passion to rouse any audience to sing along or wipe a tear from their eye. With the same spirit of the music coursing through Quinn and Chambers, Carr keeps a rhythm that weaves throughout the tune completing the mosaic of music.
