Brecksville, Ohio - The National Park Service (NPS) published a Notice of Availability of the Draft White-tailed Deer Management Plan/ Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a 60-day public review and comment period, beginning July 26, 2013 and ending September 24, 2013.
Public open house meetings will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 1 to 3 p.m. or from 6 to 8 p.m. All media are invited for interviews and questions beginning one hour prior to the public open house meetings. All meetings will be held at Happy Days Lodge, 500 W. Streetsboro Road (State Route 303), 1-mile west of State Route 8, Peninsula, Ohio 44264.
The Draft White-tailed Deer Management Plan/ Environmental Impact Statement is currently available for public review and comment. Digital copies are available for download from the NPS Planning, Environment, and Public Comment (PEPC) web site at http://parkplanning.nps.gov/cuvadeerplan. You may provide comments through this PEPC site (preferred); at the public open house or by mail to:
