Brecksville, Ohio – Two sections of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail will be closed beginning December 11, 2017, and continuing through June 2018. Closure locations include the section between Boston Store Visitor Center and the Interstate 271 Bridge; and between Deep Lock Quarry and Hunt House. There will be access both north and south of the Lock 29 Trailhead to the closure locations. There will not be access to Boston Store Visitor Center from Lock 29 Trailhead during the closure.

The temporary closure is necessary for public safety while the park replaces four pedestrian bridges along the trail. There will be no detour available. Please respect the closures.
