Lantern Walks in Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Brecksville, Ohio – Cuyahoga Valley National Park FREE Lantern Walks bring the past to life this September and October. The light of the moon and costumed characters will guide groups through the stories of America’s National Parks.

 

Free tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 5 p.m. Limit 10 per person. Hikes depart every 30 minutes between 6 – 8 p.m.

 

Saturday, September 16: Underground Railroad

Explore the dangerous realities and complexities of the Underground Railroad that passed through Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Octagon Shelter, 499 Truxell Road, Peninsula, Ohio 44264.

 

Saturday, October 21: Ghost Stories

Experience your national park in a unique way. National Park Service Ghost Stories will share the stories of America’s National Parks and the legend and lore associated with them today. Ledges Shelter, 405 Truxell Road, Peninsula, Ohio 44264.
