Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is offering a ‘Kids Rides Free’ special this August to celebrate our loyal passengers.
Starting Tuesday, August 1, for every adult National Park Scenic coach ticket ($15), a child's (ages 3 - 12) National Park Scenic coach ticket is free.
The ‘Kids Ride Free’ special runs Tuesdays-Fridays in August. Weekends do not apply. The special ends on Thursday, August 31. This discount is limited to 3 free child coach tickets per household or group. Passengers are required to purchase any additional child coach tickets exceeding the 3 free child coach ticket limit.
The National Park Scenic Coach Ticket is an all-day pass, so families can get off the train and explore the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. One round trip is approximately three hours long. The train travels northbound and southbound throughout the day from Rockside station in Independence to Akron Northside station.
Purchase tickets in advance at cvsr.com, by phone at 1-800-468-4070, or at Rockside station, Peninsula depot, or Akron Northside station 30 minutes prior to departure. Availability may be limited. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that this offer only applies to National Park Scenic coach tickets. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This offer is valid only for the month of August and cannot be applied with any other discount or offer. Not valid for upgrades.
