Brecksville, Ohio - The National Park Service (NPS) announces that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Notice of Availability (NOA) for the recently released final Trail Management Plan/Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) has been published in the Federal Register. The EPA NOA officially begins the 30-day waiting period before the Record of Decision (ROD) can be issued.
"We would like to thank all of those who participated in the planning process. We value the public's interest in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and look forward to implementing this plan with your support and collaboration," said Stan Austin, Superintendent of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Electronic copies of the FEIS are available on the NPS Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC) web site for the project at: http://parkplanning.nps.gov/cuyahogatrailplan. Copies are available for viewing at the Boston Store Visitor Center, 1550 Boston Mills Road, Peninsula 44264, and at the local libraries in Peninsula, Brecksville and Northfield, Ohio. A limited number of copies and CDs of the FEIS are also available upon request by contacting the park at the following location:
