Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Peninsula, Ohio (Wednesday, November 16, 2011) - Music lovers will rejoice with the sound of chamber and jazz music echoing through Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) this winter.
Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park has extended its Music by Nature concert series after a successful summer launch. The new season of Music by Nature will commence at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Happy Days Lodge. Singers Companye will be the first guests of the series and will present a special holiday concert and family sing-along.
Happy Days Lodge is located at 500 West Streetsboro Road (Route 303) in Peninsula 44264.
"A main goal for the Conservancy is to find new ways for people to enjoy Cuyahoga Valley National Park," said Deb Yandala, CEO of the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. "Music by Nature had a tremendous start this summer and we're excited to continue offering this enchanting live music series at CVNP."
Music by Nature will continue at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2012, with a special Valentine's Day-themed concert by the Aaron Duo, as they present love songs from the turn of the century.
Other 2012 concerts include: pianist Warren Mailey-Smith on March 18; a World War II tribute performance by Panaramicos on April 15; and a Mother's Day concert with Idle Twittering on May 13.
