Brecksville, Ohio – On Saturday, February 18, Appalachian folk duo the Honey Dewdrops will play at Happy Days Lodge in Cuyahoga Valley National Park for the first time. The concert is hosted by the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the National Park Service.
Winners of the 2008 Prairie Home Companion talent show, the Honey Dewdrops are Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish, a husband-and-wife folk duo who perform fresh, original songs influenced by traditional Appalachian music as well as contemporary singer-songwriters. They’re known for their musical chemistry and the maturity of their sound, in performance, arrangement, and songwriting.
The concert will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 for the general public, $15 for Conservancy members, and $5 for kids ages 3-12. Buy tickets online at forcvnp.org/concerts or by calling 330-657-2909, option 4.
