Junior Ranger Day Camps 2025

The Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center is excited to offer two weeks of Junior Ranger Day Camp this summer!

Ages: 6 - 12 years old
Times: 9 am - 3 pm, Monday - Friday with drop off time of 8:45 am

Early Bird Registration runs February 20 – June 9, 2025. Registration closes July 7.

Week 1: Outdoor Adventure Camp, July 21–25

Spend the week in Cuyahoga Valley National Park testing your outdoor skills. Learn how to use a map & compass, tie knots, set up shelters, and stay safe in the outdoors. Adventures include outdoor cooking, pond and forest exploration, art in nature and more! If you love being outside and want to learn more, then join us for an Outdoor Adventure!

Week 2: Explore Camp, July 28–August 1

Spend the week exploring Cuyahoga Valley National Park and along the way get to know other national parks across the country. Which parks are home to bats? How are the forests in this national park different from forests in other national parks? The week will include pond exploration, hikes in the forest, learning about bats, tree investigations, and an encounter with a volcano!
