Retaining and repairing historic material
Most of the historic building materials appear to be damaged beyond repair
and must be replaced. Once they are replaced with new material, the only
tangible historic fabric will be the hidden structural frame. This building
has lost its historic integrity and could no longer be determined to be
a “certified historic structure.” Thus, it would not be eligible
for the 20% tax credit.
