Guided walk

Broken Top Hike: 10 a.m. Mon.-Thurs. –1.8 miles, 2 hours
Hike over, under and around a volcano on this fascinating hike.Bring sturdy boots, water, a flashlight, and a cave permit. Meet at the Tree Molds parking lot.

Cave Walks: 1 &4 p.m. Daily; 10 a.m. Fri.-Sun.– 1 mile,1.5 hours
Follow the trail through seas of ropy lava into the strange underground world of a lava tube. Wear sturdy shoe, bring a flashlight, and a cave permit. Meet at the Caves Area trailhead.

Patio Talks: 11 a.m., 2 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. Daily –15 minutes
Enjoy a short presentation about the natural or cultural history of Craters of the Moon. Check the visitor center for daily topics. Meet at the Visitor Center plaza.

Evening Program: June 4 - July 4 at 9:30 p.m. (campground); July 5 - Labor Day at 6:15 p.m. (visitor center) – 45 minutes
Rangers present different programs each night on topics ranging from volcanoes to history.

Junior Ranger Talk: June 4 - July 4 only, 8:30 p.m. – 30 minutes
Learn to be a Ranger! Fun activities for kids of all ages. Parents are welcome, too. Meet at the campground amphitheater.

Junior Ranger Walk: Daily at 2 p.m., .5 mile - 45 min.
Explore the "weird and scenic landscape" while earning your Junior Ranger badge! This family-focused activity occurs on the fully accessible Devils Orchard Trail. Bring water and meet at the Devils Orchard trailhead (stop 3).
