Visit the Moon Virtually

Can't get a bus? Live too far away? Weather too cold? You can still explore Craters of the Moon with your students! We offer free, interactive distance learning programs that you and your students can participate in virtually using programs like Skype, Facetime, and Google Hangout.

Classrooms can connect with Craters of the Moon to learn more about volcanoes, ecology, and Craters of the Moon’s connection with space. Students can interview a park ranger and learn about careers and the mission of the National Park Service. We work with teachers to offer a 20-40 minute program that meets your needs.

To schedule a Craters of the Moon distance learning program, contact us with information about your group and a proposed date and time.
