- Approximately 200 km of perennial streams and 115 km of intermittent streams drain outward from Mt Mazama
- All “wadeable streams” (peak flow < 200cfs, active channel width ≤ 10m)
- Most reaches contain high gradient, cold, headwater habitats
- Amphibians were dominant aquatic vertebrate in most streams prior to introduction of non-native fish
