URL Shortcuts

In addition to menu-level access, CommonSpot provides URL shortcuts to server, site, and subsite functions. See Administrator Roles and Permissions for privileges required to access each administrative level.

Server Administrator

http://hostname/commonspot/admin

where hostname is the name of the system on which CommonSpot and the ColdFusion Application Server are installed.

Server Administration Dashboard for managing configuration settings that apply to all sites on the server.

Site Administrator

http://hostname/[sitename]/admin.cfm

where sitename might be / if the site is defined as a top-level site.

The Site Administration Dashboard for site-wide settings. Authenticated site administrators can also choose Admin - Site Administration to access this dashboard.

Subsite Administrators

http://hostname/[sitename]/[subsitename]/admin.cfm

where subsitename identifies the subsite for which the administrator has permissions.
