National Park Service/Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site 'Tis the Season!It's the time of year again for traveling and visiting family for the holidays, so here's everything you need to know about visiting Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site while you're in town. Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site Visitor Center will be CLOSED on the following days: Thursday, November 23rd, 2017 in observation of Thanksgiving Monday, December 25th, 2017 in obeservation of Christmas Monday, January 1st, 2018 in observation of New Year's Day Friday, December 22, 2018, the Visitor Center will close early at 1:30PM. Other than the dates mentioned above, the Visitor Center will be open regular hours, seven days a week from 9:00AM - 4:30PM. Park Rangers offer guided tours into Central High School Monday - Friday at 9:00AM and 1:00PM. Little Rock Central High School is still an active high school with over 2,500 students enrolled. Guided Tours of Central High School will not be offered while school is dismissed. Only the Visitor Center will be open for visitation during the following dates (i.e. tours will not be offered): Monday, November 20th, 2017 through Friday, November 24th, 2017 Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 through Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018 Inclimate weather may also impact Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site operating hours.
