FREE Field Trips for Your 4th Grade Class
Are you a public school 4th grade teacher in Ventura County who would like to bring your 4th grade class on a FREE educational field trip to Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center during the 2016 - 2017 school year? Bus transportation will be fully reimbursed by the National Park Trust. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a ranger-led, interactive program.

Field Trips: 2016-2017 School Year, schedule as early as possible
Please note: All Wednesdays are booked for field trips through June 2017.

This Every Kid in a Park grant opportunity is being made possible by grants from the National Park Trust and National Marine Sanctuary Foundation.

The Every Kid in a Park initiative grants approximately 4 million fourth graders across the country and their families' free entry to all federal lands and waters during the 2016-2017 school year (through August 31st).

During their visit to Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center, all participating students will receive their free entry pass for themselves and their families to more than 2,000 federal recreation areas, including national parks, wildlife refuges, and national forests.
