Then join a park ranger for a fast paced walk on the Sope Creek trails. This is a great way to ease your way into a new fitness regime, These Wednesday walks will be conducted at a brisk walking pace. Traversing the ridges and draws you'll have spectacular views of Sope Creek and the Marietta Paper Mill ruins. Allow the sounds of nature and rushing water to transport you away from the hustle and bustle of the city as you exercise and learn about this valuable natural resource.

Dress for the weather and wear comfortable outdoor clothes and running shoes. By dressing in layers you can adjust to changes in temperature. Be sure to bring and consume fluids to stay hydrated.

Note: The $3 Daily Park Pass is not required for vehicles displaying a current Annual Park Pass or America the Beautiful Pass!
