Annual Cedar Breaks National Monument
Wildflower Festival Poster Contest

The winner will be notified by the end of May, and an America the Beautiful Annual Pass (Valued at $80.00) or gift certificate of equal value will be awarded to the creator of the artwork selected.. Additionally there will be two awards given to the second and third place winners. The winning artwork will be distributed throughout the Southern Utah area and will be featured on the Cedar Breaks National Monument website and social media pages. The competition will be judged by a committee of Cedar City community members and representatives from Cedar Breaks National Monument.

We will accept submissions of your artwork from now to May 1st. You must completely fill out and include our Wildflower Festival Application with your artwork submission to be considered eligible. We are excited to see what you create!

  2. By May 1st, e-mail us your application and up to five images (jpg, pdf or tiff) or send them using snail-mail (scroll down to the bottom of this page for our mailing address).


• Images must represent plants, or flora found in and around the Cedar Breaks National Monument.
• Submissions that best represent the Cedar Breaks flora and pollinators (such as bees, butterflies and hummingbirds) will be given the strongest consideration.
• The original work can be in any format, such as; watercolor, acrylic, oils, photography or 3D sculpture.
• We prefer you e-mail us your entries with the subject title “Wildflower Poster Contest."
• Submit 1-5 high resolution images (300 dpi or greater) in jpg, pdf or tiff format.
• Please include your last name in the title of your artwork’s file. (Example: SmithSunflower1.jpg)
• Please do not send the original/physical artwork.
• Current Cedar Breaks employees & interns are ineligible to enter.
