Wildflower Poster Contest

ABOUT THE CONTEST

The winner will be notified by the end of May, and an America the Beautiful Annual Pass (Valued at $80.00) or gift certificate of equal value will be awarded. The winning artwork will be distributed as a poster throughout the Southern Utah area and will be featured on the Cedar Breaks National Monument website and social media pages. The competition will be judged by a committee of Cedar City community members and representatives from Cedar Breaks National Monument.

HOW TO ENTER

We will accept submissions of your artwork from now to May 1st.

  1. Post your image on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #CedarBreaksWildflower

  2. Or, e-mail us (by May 1st) up to five high resolution images (jpg, pdf or tiff) using the subject title "Wildflower Poster Contest".

  3. Or, send a printed copy of your image, along with your contact information (postmarked by April 17) to:

SUBMISSION CRITERIA:

• Images must represent native flora found in and around the Cedar Breaks National Monument.
• Submissions that include pollinators (such as bees, butterflies, moths, beetles, and hummingbirds) will be given the strongest consideration.
• The original work can be in any format, such as; watercolor, acrylic, oils, photography or 3D sculpture.
• If chosen as a winner, the creator of the image must have a high resolution version (300 dpi or greater) of their image in jpg, pdf or tiff format.
• Please include your last name in the title of your artwork’s file. (Example: SmithSunflower1.jpg)
• Please do not send the original/physical artwork.
• Current and past Cedar Breaks employees & interns are eligible to enter, but cannot receive a prize if their image is chosen.
