New Fee Rates at Cedar Breaks National MonumentCedar Breaks National Monument, UT – Beginning this 2017 Spring season, Cedar Breaks will increase park entrance and campground fees in order to fund important deferred/backlog maintenance and improvement projects. Cedar Breaks has a per person entrance fee charge while many national parks charge per vehicle. Rate changes are below.
|Cedar Breaks NM||2016 Fee||New Fee|
|Cost Per Person||$5||$6|
|Campground (per-site, per-night)||$18||$20|
|Campground: Senior/Access Rate
|Cedar Breaks Annual Pass||$20||$25|
This modest increase in fees allows us to continue to protect, preserve, and share Cedar Breaks with current visitors and future generations. In the fall of 2014, the National Park Service conducted a nationwide review of entrance fees. To solicit public input, Cedar Breaks invited public feedback and comments in December 2014. The review concluded that this fee increase was necessary to maintain current visitor facilities and improve ADA/ABA accessibility. In addition, fees will be used to enhance visitor services by adding more campground sites, a covered picnic pavilion and additional restroom.
National park entrance fees are not charged for persons under 16 years of age or to holders of the following Interagency Passes;
Annual (valid for 1 year from month of purchase)
Senior (lifetime pass for U.S. citizens, 62 years and older) *Subject to change due to recent legislation
Military (free annually to active U.S. military personnel)
Access (lifetime pass for permanently disabled U.S. citizens)
Every Kid in a Park 4th Grade Pass (Valid for families of U.S. 4th graders until August 2017)
