Visitor Center Grand Reopening with Spectacular Views
WHAT: Cabrillo National Monument invites you to the First Annual Move to Improve Challenge. Walk or bike to the park and get in free. Celebrate the healthy improvements you are making in your own lives and communities. Join us as we also reopen the park’s visitor center after a several month seismic retrofit.
Take part in ranger and naturalist guided hikes and walks.
Check out the exhibitor fair featuring local businesses that can get you moving.
Increase your stewardship by learning sustainable practices like composting and energy saving
Meet the park’s newest Artist-In-Residence
Food and snow cones available for purchase
Join in the fun at the Lighthouse Chores Obstacle Course – get your exercise and get a true taste of what life was like at the lighthouse in the late 1800’s. How fast can you carry water, wash laundry and whitewash a fence 1880’s style?
