Buffalo National River Junior Rangers explore the park and investigate the resources that make it special: the plants, the animals, the natural and cultural landscapes, the history, and the connections among all of these things. They strive to learn about the park so that they can help protect it, and they share their knowledge with others. Today's Junior Rangers are tomorrow's public land stewards.
If you would like to become a Buffalo National River Junior Ranger during your visit to the park, stop by the Tyler Bend Visitor Center, Buffalo Point Ranger Station, or Steel Creek Ranger Station to pick up your free junior ranger handbook! You can also email us to get a copy mailed to you.
