Education interns at Black Canyon work with experienced park staff to prepare and present curriculum-based education programs. Curriculum includes geology, wildlife, paleontology, water, energy, navigation, and human history. Programs are presented at schools and in the field, to diverse audiences.
Interns also assist with distance learning, teacher professional development, informational requests, record keeping, and preparation of teaching materials. Interns are recruited and hired through a partnership with the American Conservation Experience.
