Oasis Butterfly Garden Steward

Help care for and maintain the butterfly garden at Oasis Visitor Center. Volunteers and staff meet each week to provide native butterfly habitat. Come out and explore beautiful areas while assisting in invasive plant removal, pruning and planting.

Individuals & Families
Drop-in individuals are welcome. Registration is not required for participation. Complete the volunteer application and bring with you. Our office is closed Friday and Saturday, so if you need more information, please contact us in advance.

Groups of five or more may require special arrangements and must be confirmed in advance. Fill out the Group Project Request Form.

Age, Skills, What to Bring
Volunteers ages 10 and up are welcome. Parent and/or legal guardian must accompany minors.

  • Bring your volunteer waiver (PDF). Volunteers under the age of 18 must have the parent/guardian approval section signed.
  • Please wear clothes that can get dirty, closed-toe shoes, layers for changing weather, and rain gear, if necessary. Also, bring a personal water bottle, sunscreen, and lunch.
  • No experience necessary. Training and tools will be provided.
