Additional Park-Specific Conditions
For a Wedding Special Use Permit


Permittee must acknowledge the park specific conditions by initialing each number below:

  1. ___ You are required to follow federal, state, and local guidelines for protecting public health. These guidelines may include social distancing, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and other precautions.
  2. _____Per Executive Order No. 13991, Permittee is responsible to ensure all participants wear a face mask in accordance with CDC and OSHA guidelines.
  3. ____Masks must cover the nose and mouth and meet CDC and OSHA guidance.
  4. ____Novelty/non-protective masks, masks with ventilation valves, or face shields are not allowed as a substitute for masks.
  5. ____Although this permit authorizes the event; it does not guarantee exclusive use of any area within the park.
  6. _____Only the wedding ceremony itself is authorized at the above location.
  7. _____To protect parklands and wildlife, the releasing of balloons, doves, or butterflies and the throwing of rice, birdseed, flower petals, or other natural or artificial material is not allowed.
  8. _____Use of candles is prohibited.
  9. _____Permittee may not exceed the maximum number of participants (see above) without NPS approval.
  10. _____No enhancements of any sort (chairs, tables, arches, decorations, etc.) are permitted without the prior approval of the park.
  11. _____The use of voice amplification, any sort of public address system, or any audio device that may disturb others is prohibited. The use of any audio device that may disturb others is also prohibited.
  12. _____No signing or advertising of the event is permitted on park property.
  13. _____The event may not interfere with other park visitors’ use of the area or the normal flow of vehicle or pedestrian traffic in any way.
  14. _____The permittee is to ensure that event participants and guests stay on durable surfaces during the ceremony.
  15. _____Due to limited parking, for groups over 10 the permittee has arranged for transport vehicles to shuttle most of the guests.
  16. _____Event participants are responsible for paying the park entry fee, where appropriate.
  17. _____Violation of the terms or conditions of this permit will result in its immediate revocation.
