The park store is operated by Western National Parks Association (WNPA), an official non-profit partner of the National Park Service dedicated to supporting the educational mission of Bandelier National Monument. Founded in 1938, Western National Parks Association is a nonprofit cooperating association for the National Park Service authorized by Congress. The Western National Parks Association Park Store provides educational materials to park visitors to help them better understand the natural and cultural significance of the parks. Furthermore, all proceeds from the sales of these educational materials are returned to the National Park Service to fund educational, interpretive and scientific activities that are not supported by taxes.
