The National Park Service (NPS) is offering a long-term competitive lease opportunity for the Conduit Road Schoolhouse, a late 1800s one-room schoolhouse, located at 4954 MacArthur Boulevard NW in Rock Creek Park.

The NPS seeks business proposals addressing how offerors would:

  • Conduct repairs to the house, such as replacing windows and the roof.

  • Preserve and protect the property.

  • Use the property to benefit the local community.

  • Provide services and amenities.

Potential lessees are invited to submit proposals through August 12, 2025.

Site Visit

Site tours are available by appointment on July 21-22 and must be scheduled two business days in advance. Email us to schedule.
