Some activities that are not consistent with the intended purpose of the park are not permitted under any circumstances. Other activities, such as commercial filming, or special event group gatherings, that don't distract other visitors or cause damge to the park may be permitted. To recieve permission for these activities, the appropriate permit application (below) should be filled out and sent to the park. Note: most activities only require the short forms, after looking at the form, if you feel you may need to use the long form, please contact the park. Permit questions should be directed to the chief of education and visitor services at: 434-352-8987 ext. 227 or e-mail us. Please contact the park with questions before you complete any of the following forms if additional guidance is needed:
