As you know Agate Fossil Beds National Monument is in the path of totality for the 2017 Solar Eclipse. This is a unique opportunity for astronomers and the general public alike. The park is welcoming amateur astronomers to help with the enrichment and education of the visitors at Agate Fossil Beds about the total solar eclipse. Bring your telescope.

The park will be hosting a night sky program on Sunday evening for the public. Agate Fossil Beds has amazing dark night skies and is a great place to view the stars.
