Scavenger Hunt: Where's Abe's Hat?

How It Works:

• Use the clues to find 9 hidden locations around the park.
• At each spot, take a selfie or a photo that proves you found it.
• When you’ve found all 9, return to the Birthplace Visitor Center or the Knob
Creek Tavern and show your photos to a ranger or volunteer.
• Get your prize!

Photo Guidelines

• One photo per location is required.
• Be in the photo or photograph the landmark clearly.
• Ensure the location is identifiable in each image.

Tips for Your Journey
• Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
• Respect the trails and stay on designated paths.
• Do not disturb wildlife or touch fragile exhibits.
• The total hunt takes around 3 hours depending on pace.

Birthplace Unit
1. “I stand at the gateway where stories begin, with exhibits and films that draw you in. Find me where the journey starts, and your adventure shall commence.”
