Louis XV Chair with cusion seat
This chair is one in a set of six in the "Old House" in Quincy. They
were purchased by John Adams to furnish his apartment at the
Hague Embassy (1783-1784) and furnished the White House
during his Presidency. Brooke Adams painted the chairs white in 1905
and upholstered them in a French damask as seen today.
