Fire Restrictions

What is Open?

Roads: All.
For live updates on road closures and conditions, visit the Utah Department of Transportation website.

Facilities: None.

Snowshoeing and Crosscountry skiing: Open, snowpack dependent on spring weather.

Road and Facility Closures

Roads: Cedar Breaks Scenic Byway (Hwy. 148) and Rim Road (the road through the park) are open for vehicle travel.

Facilities: The temporary Information Center and Zion Forever Project park store are closed for the season and will reopen spring 2024. The historic 1937 Log Cabin is closed to all access due to construction at Point Supreme Overlook. The Point Supreme Campground is closed for the season and will reopen June 2024.

Overlooks: The Point Supreme Overlook is closed to all access through mid-summer 2024 due to construction activities.

Trails: Closed to hiking for the season.

Snowmobile trail: Closed as of April 22 for plowing operations.
