Road Conditions

All park roads are currently open. Road improvement projects on the South Rim will cause delays up to 30 minutes and reduce available parking spots.

For roads outside the park, check Colorado Department of Transportation.

Facility Closures

Check Operating Hours & Seasons for opening and closing dates in 2024.

Traffic

Between May and October, particularly on busy holiday weekends, you may experience long lines at the entrance road, and parking lots at popular trailheads and viewpoints can fill up.

Climbing Closures

Check annual climbing closures for protection of nesting raptors. These closures are effective March 15 to July 15.
