Roadwork at Zion National Park

Minor roadwork is scheduled for Highway 9 at the east side of the Zion Mt. Carmel Tunnel on Tuesday, October 23, 2007. The work will entail overlaying new pavement on an 800 foot section of highway and is anticipated to occur from about 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. One lane will remain open most of the time but motorists could experience short delays. The project is expected to take one day to complete but weather or other unforeseen circumstances could delay or extend the project.
