Utah Core Curriculum Third Grade Science Standard 2: Students will understand that organisms depend on living and nonliving things within their environment.
All living things have specific requirements in order to call a place home. Using the habitats of Zion National Park as examples, students will learn how living and non-living members of an environment are connected. Students will uncover these relationships and the role change may play in their development.
